Dear Valued Patients of Philly City Foot Doc

(Previously Wynnewood Foot & Ankle Center),

As you may know by now, the Coronavirus disease, otherwise known as COVID-19, has become a rapidly evolving concern for people across this country and abroad.

Please note that for the City of Philadelphia, you must register through www.phila.gov to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine.

We want to assure you that our practice is taking precautionary measures to help maintain the safety and cleanliness of our office. Temperature checks are being performed on everyone who enter the office to ensure your safety. To best help prevent the spread of this disease, we urge you to please contact our office prior to any appointments if you believe you are exhibiting symptoms.

Common symptoms of this virus may include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. This precautionary step is especially important for elderly, diabetic, and pediatric patients, as they seem to be more susceptible to the disease.

Additionally, we advise that you regularly wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Avoiding close contact with people who are sick, staying home if you believe you’re getting ill, covering your coughs and sneezes, and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces may also help in the prevention of the Coronavirus.

Our practice is dedicated to providing a safe, and healthy space for our patients, which is why we must all work together as we learn more about this disease. Please feel free to contact our office, and we wish you well.

We will continue to provide treatment of infections, injuries, ulcerations, and post-operative care in the office by appointment, as it is very important keep these patients out of urgent care facilities and hospital emergency departments to limit risk of exposure.

We will continue to see scheduled patients who need face-to face care as long as they are healthy and doing well.  Patients experiencing cough or fever, have tested positive for COVID-19 or that have been exposed to individuals who may be positive for COVID-19 are being rescheduled. We are taking all of the necessary precautions recommended by the CDC to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff.

We are complying with all state and local regulations, so everyone is required to wear a face mask upon entering. Everyone must practice social distancing when possible.

As an alternative to visiting the office, we are pleased to offer patients the option to be treated via Telehealth Services (using Zoom, FaceTime, or phone call). If you are interested in this option, please contact the office at 215-471-0433, and we will set up a Telehealth appointment for you right away.

At this time we have temporarily reduced our hours until further notice, please see below. If you have an urgent matter and need to speak to one of our doctors after hours, please call the office number and leave a message (or call the after hours phone number on the message).

Temporary Reduced Office Hours

Please do your part to slow the spread of this virus by staying home, washing your hands thoroughly and staying healthy. We also recommend social distancing at least 6 feet apart whenever possible. As always, we value your trust in us to treat all of your foot and ankle care needs, and we are here for you during this time of uncertainty.
